Desire turns deadly
Based on the author's own experiences as a foreign correspondent in Thailand and inspired by the brutal double murder of David Miller and Hannah Witheridge on Koh Tao in 2014... Thriller When the Darkness Swallowed the Sun sees two backpackers bludgeoned to death on a paradise island, with a young English journalist becoming consumed by the case. On the blood-stained sands he meets a magnetic Thai drifter whose easy charm hides a predator’s gaze, seeing loyalties fracture and desires ignite as the island dream descends into nightmare. Think The Beach rebooted for Gen Z. This Top 30 bestseller out now from Amazon in paperback and on Kindle Unlimited.
